Favorite Character Responce

My favorite character in the book Jump Ship To Freedom is Daniel! Because he seems adventurous and brave. and i kinda describe my self like that. As he is trying to get to New York i thought how brave he was and how much he wanted to be free and help his family and help other people. he is s little older than me and if i was black i think i would try and do the same thing. but being white in the book would be a little different. Daniel takes a lot of risks during the story Jump Ship To Freedom. He jumped off that boat and he new that he would be chased by Caption Ivers and Big Tom.

AHW: Traped Chipmunk

So i just got picked up from the bus stop. and my mom says that there is a chipmunk stuck in my sisters window well. (my sisters room is inside of the basement so if there was ever a fire the window well is an exit from the basement) When we got home i took off my shoes and bolted down the stairs and i ran into my sisters room i look out her window and i saw a little chipmunk sitting in of the window well!

Compare and contrast two of the main characters

Daniel and his mom are alike because they are both slaves, they both are African American, they both where bought by caption Ivers.  But there different in a way because Daniels mom is older than him, Daniel was on a boat and he got away. There the same in a way because they both got the notes taken away from them and wanted to get them back. Also they both wanted to be free and use the notes to buy liberty. I can prove that Daniel wanted to buy his family's liberty because if you look on the back of the book where the info and the plot of the book is it say quote "Daniels father fought in the Revolutionary army and earned enough in soldiers ' notes to buy his family's liberty". Daniel talks to him self in 3 person in the story and he said that they should be brave and fight! But his mom said that they should talk about it and have peace

Have you ever felt like your family left you behind? or forgot about you?

Well....

In the book Amulet  Emily  is a stone keeper and her mom got captured by a monster and her and her brother and some of her friends are trying to find her. she is worrying all thought out the book. her grandpa was a stone keeper so when he died she got the stone when her family moved into there grandpas old how. Emily and her friends and brother go on awesome adventures and work with robots and stuff. This story connects with another story I forgot what it was called but it is about this girl that thinks she is to old to go to Disney land.

AHW: The "focus" spot

In  Mr.Joseph's class we have three spots in the class room. There called the "focus" spots. But we all no its just when your in trouble. Today i had to go in a "focus" spot because i was talking to my friend Lilly. Lilly wanted a carrot from Grace, my other friend. Then Grace gave Lilly the nastiest carrot ever. it was green and brown. Lilly then put the carrot on Mrs.Parks laptop. We were all dieing laughing and then Mrs.Parks gave the carrot back to Lilly. Lilly then took a bite of the carrot. (not the brown/green nasty side). Then we were all dead! we were laughing so hard! it was sooo funny! Then she gave it back to Mrs.Parks not saying a word! Mrs.Parks through it gently to Lilly. We were laughing so hard that Mr.Joseph came over and told Lilly to leave. After he stole the old, wrinkly, green, brown, carrot. He just put it in his pocket! he just trough it in there! After that Mr.J sent me to the focus spot ! i was there for the rest of the class. But it was nothing really THAT bad.

Yesterday was my birthday! i turned 11 years old and my mom really didn't have anything for me yet so me my mom grandma and my old sister are going to go shopping over this weekend! i want a new shoes and my mom and i where looking at Jordans and i want light grey and a lighter color purple i am super existed to go with my family to get some birthday presents :D (I'll update you guys on what i got next week)
